CRICKET Pug Puppy Female in Brandon, South Dakota

My story
***APPLICATION PENDING**** NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS. Hi, my name is Cricket! My foster mom says I have a big personality stuck in a little body! I don't know why she thinks that! I follow my foster mom everywhere and I always want to play!!! I love my foster brother and sister and never want to stop playing with them so I hope I will have a sibling at my forever home! I love to be held. I know my legs look a little funny and don't quite work like they are supposed to but my foster mom says my new braces help a lot! But don't be fooled by my looks- I am a fighter and nothing slows me down! I run and play like the big kids! I haven't quite figured out why my foster mom tells me I can't bite- I'm just playing- but she says we need to work on finding a better way to play. I'm doing really well at pottying outside and I don't go in my kennel. My foster mom says I have the cutest baaaaaark and that I don't just bark like most kids. I can't wait to meet my new family!Cricket had surgery in February to correct double luxating elbows in her front legs. The surgery was a success, however, due to early compensating by her ankle joints, we continue to work on a physical therapy plan coupled with braces to continue to help her utilize her legs more and more. Her amazing vet, Dr. Spoo with Best Care Pet Hospital believes she is at the point where she can join her forever family. He would like her new family to be a part of her current physical therapy program to set her up for the greatest success! Cricket is considered special needs due to her use of braces and daily physical therapy stretches. Don't let that deter you though... you'd never know by her speed that she has an issue with anything. We will be looking for a forever home for Cricket that has a physically fenced in yard, minimal stairs (or the ability to carry her up and down stairs), a patient family that is willing to continue care with her current physical therapy. This little girl has been through alot and has the best little diva attitude:) We just love her and know her perfect family is out there!Cricket's adoption fee is $500 and includes her spay when age appropriate. She is up to date on vaccinations, monthly preventatives, and is microchipped. Please visit our website at www. bsquaddogrescue.com to review our adoption process and complete an application. Thank you!ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:-PHYSICALLY FENCED IN YARD- FEW STAIRS (OR THE ABILITY TO CARRY HER UP AND DOWN THE STAIRS)- WILLINGNESS AND FINANCIAL CAPABILITY TO CONTINUE HER PHYSICAL THERAPY PROGRAM-NO OTHER LARGE DOGS IN THE HOME OR SMALL CHILDREN (THAT COULD POSSIBLY HURT HER LEGS BY ACCIDENT)
